I am having a problem with opening linked presentations in PowerPoint Office 2000. When I create a presentation that has hyper links or action buttons and run the show it opens the linked PowerPoint files in normal view not slide show view like it should.
Our Office 2000 install is done through an automated installation using a program called ACMS. I do not have the Office 2000 disk to install it. All of the machines that have had Office installed using this ACMS method have the problem. I tried it on another PC that did not have Office installed using the ACMS program and the linked presentation opened in slide show view like it should. I also tried it on a PC that still has Office 97 and the linked presentation opened in slide show view like it should.
Someone told me I could save the linked files as PowerPoint Shows (*.PPS) and that worked but I would like for it to work without having to do that on each linked file.
I think this is just an option or setting that needs be changed. I went through the options and could not find anything. HELP!!!
