Linking Tables in Seagate Crystal Report

By jaldred ·
I am having problems linking two databases together within crystal reports. I want to link two tables from two different SQL databases but I am only able to use one link. I have checked the crystal reports knowledgebase and it says that you can onlymake one join if you are linking tables from seperate databases. I need to get round this as we use multicompanys within our software and without me being able to link these tables....I won't be able to write any reports !!!!

Linking Tables in Seagate Crystal Report

I am not familiar with Crystal but the first thing I would try is the Crystal reports website:
http://support.crystaldecisions.com

If that does not get you the information that you need, you might want to consider making tables in each of yourdatabases for each of your separate companies. Then you could link on those tables. This is a waste of space, but it could solve the reporting problem.
