Linux and Microsoft Proxy server

I have Mandrake Linux 7.1 installed on a desktop that needs to use FTP, Telnet, etc. via a Microsoft Proxy server (2.0). I understand that Socks5 may be required on the client. Has anyone done this config and where can I get the Socks5 client? Thanks.

You can use the Dante socks client, wich has some msproxy support (it supports TCP, which seems to be what you want):
