Linux Clusstering

Linux clustering is a well-known problem.
You should define your problem space a little more tightly, so you get better answers. It's not clear, for instance, that you don't actually mean "How do I set up NFS or Samba filesharing?" In general, consult http://google.com when you're looking for overview information.

Here are some Linux clustering resources you can review:

Freshmeat Linux clustering overview:
http://freshmeat.net/articles/view/458/
The Beowulf Project:
http://www.beowulf.org/
Linux, Beowulf and LSF Clustering
http://www.integritylinux.com/lnxcluster.html
How to build a Beowulf Cluster
http://www.beowulf.org/howto/howto.html

The target cluster hardware may be larger and more similar than you have.

Just a quick suggestion:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ssic-linux
for information on building a "single-system image" cluster.
Based on the Tandem/Non-Stop Clusters technology that Compaq open-sourced.
