Recently I upgraded to RH7.0 and now my
monitor blanks (goes into power save mode)
after some period of time. Where is the
setting to diasble this behavior?

Thanks

I believe I did not provide enough data. I am running X-windows. This has to be a power managment setting somewhere.

Thanks again

Hi breagan,

-Did you already look in the menu at:
Programs -> Settings -> Gnome Control Center
-then under:
Desktop -> Screensaver
- there is a little button in the right panel
wich says: "use powermanagement"

I had this problem as well. Comment out the 'Option "DPMS"' line (#) in the Device section of your XF86Config file. Probably /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, but if your not using XFree 4.0 then it would be the power_saver line in /etc/X11/XF86Config. This will get rid of the power saving all together.
