Lilo doesn't appear after successfully installation of linux.

Follow these points, and perhaps you can work it out.

1. Have you renamed the default start up ?
2. Have you changed the link at the start up mode to vlinuz ?
3. Have you placed the start up to another divice that does not boot at the master record ?
4. Have you checked out that your scsi borad dirver is working ok?
5. Have you changed the default settings of your scsi board ?
6. Have you changed the startup for another booting device instead of lilo ?


Hope it helps, if you can't figure this out try installing linux again and be aware of what the installing procedure is asking for. Read the readme files and how-to at www.linux.org.

Run your liloconf again, make sure that you specified a delay (usually 5 seconds or so) so that the system just doesn't automatically boot. Then run lilo again to install the changes. Make sure your LILO is in a place where it can be seen, like the master boot record.

Additionally, try holding down the left shift as the system is booting.
