Linux Mail Sever

I have problem with conf of linux mailserver.
We have a DSL link to office from our ISP.I want to configur my mailserver so that everyone has there indudal ID.I have configured DNS,i am able to send mailbut revers doesn't work?

I think that the first thing you should do is to check if both DNS lookups and reverse DNS lookups work, also check if you have proper MX record in DNS conf. If lookups work both ways and you can query MX records it should be OK.

Also, it takes some time for domain names to propagate.

Make sure that you have registered the domain name of your mail server with the appropriate DNS server (i.e., a public DNS server if you're connected directly to the Internet, or your organization's DNS if you're connecting first to your organization.
