How to set the parameter for network printing in linux machine?

Hi !

To print using NetWare queue under linux you can use nprint command from ncpfs package (you need activate ipx support on your linux-box to use this way).
Alternate way is intsall on NetWare server additional software, which allow printing to NetWare printers "unix way" (i.e. lpr/lpd).
Simply add into your /etc/printcap entry with remote printer.

With best regards,
Vlad.

Hi!

If your printer is connected to a modern printserver, you could try and add the printer as a network printer specifying ip of the printserwer and the que as raw.

This should work for mos print servers.

In redhat there is a grpahic tool for adding a networked printer.
