Linux printing for Citrix?

by cyrille In reply to Linux printing for Citrix ...

Hi darriola!

I am not so familiar with the Citrix productions, but I suppose you mean the famous MetaFrame family.

Well this is obviously very complex biusinness sollution, but it runs over Microsoft OS (NT server 4, 2000 as well as the latest version - on future XP).

In complex metaframe structure, there is a object, called Citrix NFuse, which has some menagement functions and among them -centralized print management. look at this link

http://www.citrix.com/products/nfuse/default.asp

I think in generally you can use your linux box as Samba server and printing with no problems by any of the LAN machines through Citrix platform.

I home this will help you.
