Linux SWAT

Hi.
I have RedHat 7.0. SWAT doesnt want to show itself. Here is what I did:
1)I dont have the inetd.conf, but I do have the xinetd.d and xinetd.conf. I edited both at different times, but neither seemed to work. I made sure the edit pointed to thebianaries at /usr/sbin/swat/
2)I checked my /etc/services, and found swat listed for port 901, which is what I want.
3)The command ps -ae showed programs with process numbers. I was unable to locate either the xinetd.d or the xinetd.conf. I need to find the process number to stop and restart the xinetd file.
4)So thats it. Hope you can help
Thanks,,,,,,,,,Pat
