Liquid Audio Removal from XP

By qballrail ·
Recently, I installed Liquid audio but removed it because it caused conflicts with the Internet. Also edited the registry, actually used regcleaner. But I still get the following message after boot up: "Liquid Audio will cause windows to become unstable. Windows has prevented these drivers from loading." I've contacted their tech support via email but they're useless: no reply. The conflicts still exist, such as more frequet "Page cannot be found" errors and slow response time in contacting remote servers.

Liquid Audio Removal from XP

you might want to read this and download it. Be aware that most all these types of products are/have been linked to spy ware. There was even an article in msnbc.com about it. In light of that we have used startcop to remove all these worm type programs. the article describes it very well. There may be an issue with XP. if there is let me know.

No go, but you compelled me to dig deeper into my registry and found a few entries. Seems to work fine now. But I'll give you an "A" for effort :) Startup cop didn't even see it, in fact, it showed just what MSConfig did. The article was informative, however! Thanks for the help!
