Local Policy in WIndows 2000.

By adrian.ginette ·
I have a windows 2000 professional pc on a NT network. There is a local policy in Windows 2000 that allows local groups, users, and etc. to load and unload device drivers. Instead of visitng each Windows 2000 professional machine and adding users orgroups to this policy, is there a way to globally update this policy on a NT network.

To manage a local policy, execute Gpedit.msc, located in the \%SystemRoot%\System32 folder. It opens the group policy snap-in focused on the local computer.
Use the Local Security Policy,Domain Security Policy,or Group Policy MMC SNAP-INS TO ASSIGN RIGHTS
User Rights fall under the Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignments branch of each snap-in.
