    Local Setting On a Domain

    how do you Transfer Local Computer settings to a domain account including desktop settings and program settings

    The Client computers and windows Xp Pro and the server is windows 2003 server

      login as the local admin.
      r-klik on my computer, properties, user profiles, and the copy the profile that you need with the settings that you want to the one that needs to change.
      And remember to check for the account that may use it.

      You can achieve this by using the User State Migration Tool (USMT). You export settings using ScanState.exe and import them using LoadState.exe.
      You may also set migration rules.
