Local User Rights to Work Station

By BobbyJGR ·
How can I give someone logging on to a domain power user rights to their own PC as they would have if they logged in locally to the pc? In other words if I was to log in to my pc locally and NOT the domain I can run programs that need to read from the registry but if I log on and choose the domain instead of locally to the pc I can NOT run these programs, it is as if I only have user rights.

Please HELP!!!
Thx in advance
Bobby

1)Logon as administrator of the domain or local machine. 2)Open control panel and and double click the users and passwords icon. 3)Click Add. 4)Type the username and domain or click browse and select the users domain username. 5)Click Next. 6)Select "Standard User" and click Finish.

The user should be listed in the previous window with power user rights. the next time the user logs on he/she will have power user rights on the local machine.
