I’m looking for a way to stop users from changing their desktop wallpapers. I’ve thought about using a group policy to prevent this, but I still want to allow BGInfo to paint the hostname, IP address and current user info on the screen.
BGinfo runs either from a login script or is placed in a the ALL USERS’ startup folder.
If I can’t lock the desktop and still allow BGInfo to run, is their a way to detect when a user changes his or her wallpaper and then re-run BGInfo?
