Lockup of PC(WIN98) when printing to HP

Scenerio:
Win98SE on a 233mhz PC, 96mb ram, IE 6.0, HP Laser 6L with jet direct card.

I am able to print to the printer in Word, Excel and other programs. When on the internet and I want to print from a web page, the PC locks with no error.. nothing. Other PC’s on the network print no problem.

Any suggestions? Help! Thanks for the answers.
