Ok, here goes. NT Server 4 sp 6a PDC, same as BDC. All logons run through PDC. Each user ( multiple domains and groups ) have profiles on Server ( PDC ). I need to implement some logon scripts. I have the scripts I need and they work, but NT workstations will not execute them. I have tried the following:
1) Placed batch file in Winnt\system32\Repl\Import\scripts – didn’t work
2) Same but in export\scripts
3) Within users shared profile on server ( ie d:\Users\username ( shared folder )
The only way that I have gotten it to work is to put the batch in the import\scripts on the workstation or as a shortcut in the startup….need to be able to get from server and manage entirely form there ( LAN and WAN considerations ) . Ideas?
