Looking for help for development of a multinational business mobile app
LockedHello,
I need advice to guide me in the process of creating a virtual product catalog application for a company. Our products are available in more than 1,000 distributors across North America and we want to provide our distributors with an interactive mobile app that allows them to quickly access information related to our product line. This application would be accessible via multimedia tablets (iPads) that would be sent to each retailer.
I would like to know what is the best way to achieve this. Knowing that some locations may be located in rural areas where the Wi-Fi signal strength is often limited.
Before today , we sent each distributor a compact disc program which they then had to install on a computer on-site. Given the high number of updates, this way of doing things is no longer optimal. We are therefore looking for a way to provide all our distributors with an application containing the information of our product catalog and allowing them to identify the best product according to the requirements of their project (sorting option that would be integrated in the application).
Here are the features of a solution that would be ideal for us:
– Ability to update the content easily and quickly
– Ability to send updates as quickly as possible to all locations
– Allows access to information and promotional videos despite a low-intensity Wi-Fi signal.Not knowing much about the world of mobile apps, I’m asking for your expertise to help me in finding the best way to achieve these goals.
