Looking for Help to Build a Solitaire Mobile App – Developer or Resources

    by annashay32 ·

I run a Danish website where we focus on online solitaire games. Now, I want to take the next step and create a Solitaire mobile app to bring the game to even more players.

I have the concept in mind, but I’m not a developer myself – so I need some help.

    🔍 I’m looking for:

A skilled and trustworthy developer who can build the app (Android, iOS, or both),

OR some reliable resources or beginner-friendly tutorials/tools to guide me through the process.

The app should have a clean design, smooth gameplay, and be easy to use – similar in style to the experience we offer on our website.

If you’re a developer or can recommend someone, or even point me to some useful templates or GitHub projects, I’d really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance! 🙌

I suggest that you focus on a more untapped application than Solitaire. There are probably hundreds, if not thousands of current applications currently available on multiple platforms. Unless you have something dramitcally different and new, you are not likely to make a dent in the current market of applications already available. Curious inquiry for an application that has existed online for more than a few decades. To each their own, just my $.02 worth.

Don’t duplicate apps. Card games are plentiful on Apple and Android so you would be wasting your time, talent and money here.

Work on a new game. Build your brand, etc.

Helping You Take Solitaire Mobile – Tools & Developer Tips

Hi Anna! 👋 That sounds like an exciting move! If you’re not a developer, I recommend checking out Buildbox (very beginner-friendly) or exploring ready-made Solitaire templates on GitHub or the Unity Asset Store. For hiring, platforms like Upwork or Toptal can connect you with skilled mobile game developers (look for Unity or Flutter experience). Feel free to DM if you need help picking a tool or developer. Good luck with the app! 🙌

Sounds like a great project, Anna! If you’re looking for a solid starting point, check out Flutter or Unity both support iOS and Android and have lots of Solitaire-style templates on GitHub.
