looking for program to monitor # of folders within multiple subfolders?

Is there a program out there that just monitors the # of subfolders inside of a folder. I have about 10 main folders I need to monitor as files and folders are uploaded by my staff.

Some kind of simple program almost like a widget that I could check to see how many folders are currently in each folder.

Does something simple like this exist?? Thank you for any help

Easy to write yourself using the Filesystem`-object and any language that can call it (e.g. Excel). Maybe also in Powershell.

The best tool to use might depend on how you want to see the status. There’s quite a difference between a dashboard that continually refreshes or a spreadsheet that shows the status each time you open it.

A nice alternative would be a system where your staff uses a webform to upload files and folders, while you have access to the statistics of the uploading via your own form in a browser.

This looks like 2 lines of code.

Now about monitoring. C# and other languages can loop and sleep so maybe we’re talking 5 lines of code total for your monitoring app.
