looking for scanning software

By evileyejoe ·
I need a free or inexpensive software for scanning. I don't need ocr software. What i need is to be able to scan to pdf and tif. The scanner, a fujitsu, came with a demo of quickscan but I looked it up and the price of the software was $900... A little too much.. a lot actually.

anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Almost any image editing software will work with your scanner driver and allow you to create TIFF files.
You just need to setup the scanner as a source in the program.

Adobe Photoshop Elements ($99 US) will allow you to save scanned images as either TIFF or PDF files.

Another option for PDF creation is Robo PDF.
