I’m looking for recommendations for software to manage shipment paperwork and rates.
We ship using both small package carriers like FedEx and UPS, and by freight lines like Yellow, Southeastern, etc. We are looking for software that will determine the shipping rates, and generate any necessary bar code labels and paperwork for the carriers. We ship both within the U.S. and internationally to NAFTA and non-NAFTA countries. We often ship a partial order based on our customer requests. We often ship parts of each order to different locations. If possible, we’d like the software to be able to pull customer and order data directly from SAP.
Anybody got any suggestions? Don’t limit your answers to “turn-key” solutions; paying for programming or adapting an existing solution are also viable options.
