If this happened recently and you are running either XP or ME, you can do a system restore to the day they were there, and then backup the registry key.
Also, try updating to the latest version, they should have a fix for this available.
It doesn't help. I just want to be able to run the software normally without having to run a recovery each time that I open Dreamweaver MX. I don't want to upgrade. This version should work for me.

losing site definitions in Dreamweaver
I know that I can re-install the program, but I recall this happening in the past, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced it.
What can I do to hold the site definitions? Thanks.
