lotus 123 chart print problem

I’m using Lotus 123 ver. 9.7 trying to print a 123 chart created on version 9.6 using a HPcolorlaserjet 4500N printer. The chart printed fine under 9.6 using the same equipment, but now prints a black background. None of the chart formatting commands seem to make a difference. Any idea how to get rid of the black background?
