Lotus Notes to Outlook migration

By etc_consulting ·
I recently purchased a Dell Axim X3 PDA with Windows Pocket PC OS installed. At my office we use Lotus Notes R5 for email. I want to import my Notes address book into the PDA's Contact address book. I have MS Outlook on my Dell Desktop PC - WinXP & Office XP. Can I export or import the Notes addresses into Outlook, which I could then syncronize with my PDA.

I had a similar request. My company uses Lotus Notes for e-mail and contacts, and I wanted to get my Notes contacts into my new PDA.
So, I used the "Outlook 2002 Connector for IBM Lotus Domino."
This is a connector that will let Outlook connect to your Domino .NSF mail file, and import your e-mail into Outlook.
I believe that I also used this to get those contacts out of Notes and into Outlook. From there, you can get them from Outlook to the PDA.
The Connector does require Office XP, and Notes R5 (with Domino servers that are R5 and up).
Try it. I think this was how I got the contacts out of Notes.
hope this helps
