Please bear with me because I’m a neophyte when it comes to computers so I may not be clearly explaining this. I know it is lengthy but all of it is relevant. I have a MacBook running Leopard 10.5.7. Originally, it was running Tiger. It kept getting “broken-into,” meaning no matter what new master and/or admin. passwords I created-within hours after Apple did a complete erase/install, someone got into my computer and changed login names, information, reset the time and date, etc. After the 4th erase/install Apple erased Tiger and installed Leopard, and within 12 hours someone had accessed my so-called secure computer again. No one had any of my passwords, they were memorized, not written and the only person with physical access besides me was my spouse. I now know it had to have been my spouse doing it for diabolical reasons. While this was going on, I had AT&T for my home and cell phones. The house phone started rerouting incoming calls, the ringer would change, my MacBook would ring like a phone, my cell phone was rerouting incoming calls and incoming/outgoing text messages, and racking up insane charges from someone (not me) using minutes/data above and beyond my plan. I did not initiate this! While this was happening the phone never left my sight. I could and still can watch the phone light up, off and on, all the time, always showing it going to my spouse’s cell number. It is not connecting me: my phone is not actually dialing that number. I had the same thing happen with Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, every phone I have had. Now, the same thing is happening with my prepaid phone with MetroPCS! As with all the phones, the text messages and calls kept happening even after the service was turned off. These bills went into the thousands of dollars (except the current one.) My current prepaid phone’s service ran out on the 15th and the service was shut off. On the 16th and 17th I saw and received text messages on the phone. On the 18th I restored service. Everyday it is transmitting some sort of data and it is continuous. It drains the battery! It had NO service. This happened with every phone. Recently, I went into my spouse’s email accounts on Yahoo, AOL and Gmail and discovered AIM/IM set up with my past and present numbers, and also my friend’s number entered under contacts. My friend’s cell phone never gets any texts/data on it, but I believe that friend’s number is being used for something. One night we were in my spouse’s email account and clicked on my friend’s number, and we watched the minutes rack up for that phone, although it only showed on the email account and again, not on the cell phone or on the Verizon bill. Although the phone company(s) have actually witnessed my phones doing this while it was happening, they will not help me: they just say they can’t explain it and only want to get paid for all the excessive minutes. Now my MacBook is still controlled by someone else, my spouse is not living with me, all my money has been stolen, bank accounts opened in my name, bad checks written in my name, my credit is ruined, and I am destitute. I do not have the money to hire anyone and need to gather more evidence to take to the authorities. Does anyone know what is happening and any ideas why or how it was done?
