Mac connecting to a home network

by pmfturner . Updated 18 years, 4 months ago

My partner uses a MacBook 2.1 running on Mac OS X version 10.4.11 on her school network, and connects via Airport and Safari.

At home, we connect via a Netgear router after selecting the home option under Locations.

No problem, until coincidentally or otherwise, I changes ISP ? now we can?t connect on our home network !

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but there is a message that comes up that seems to me (rightly or wrongly) that there is some conflict between PPPoA and PPPoE, although why this should have happened .

Can somebody tell me what settings to change on the Mac, where to change them and what to change them to in order to get online again at home.

Help !
