MacBook Pro Data Recovery?

By MacGUy22 ·

Anyone here owns a Macbook Pro? Have you experience losing important files or photos? Is so, how were you able to find them? I just accidentally deleted important stuff and now I'm scrambling online how to retrieve them. Saw this program from http://www.macdatarecoveryhq.com/macbook-pro-data-recovery/ but would want opinions/advices as well.

Thanks in advance!

If somebody accidentally deleted Mac Trash files and how to restore empty

by Sameera Sheriff In reply to MacBook Pro Data Recovery ...

If somebody accidentally deleted Mac Trash files and how to restore empty trash? It's that easy. Get a common tool for recovering data and recovering your files from trash. Such files can also be retrieved using Terminal

Recover Deleted Files using Mac Terminal:
Open the Terminal

Type "cd .Trash" and click on the "Return" button

Input "mv xxx../" and then press "Return". (xxx is the name of the deleted file)

write "Quit" and then go to the "Finder" window

Enter the name of the deleted file and press on "Return".

You will get the deleted file and finally, save the file.

Data Loss on mac book Pro

by ethanjarvis1994 In reply to MacBook Pro Data Recovery ...

Hello Mac Guy,

Yes, I have an experience of data loss and recovery on my MacBook Air. I trashed a project file and deleted it permanently. Someone from a tech forum recommended to try TestDisk; so I did but couldn't restore my project. Further, I tried Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac and it retrieved the data. But, the software didn't come for free. At-last it depends if the data is crucial then you must invest in order to get it back.
