Macros in MS Word

By vinitachoudhary ·
When i copy my word document to another machine or when i mail it, the macros createed for my document in my machine do not get mailed or copied to the other machine. How do I get around this so as to have my macros copied as well? Is there a way to make these macros available to all the users of the company?

Attach them to the document

[1] It would appear that your macros are being saved attached to your file. You must open Project Manager (ALT+F11) and attach them to the document you're working on. If you're going to create these documents on a recurring basis, attach the macros to a Word template and create new documents using the template.

[2] RE: "Is there a way to make these macros available to all the users of the company?"

--Save the macros in a module attached to a Word template.
--Place the Word template in a shared network folder.
--Place a SHORTCUT to the template in everyone's Word "Startup" folder. This will cause the template to be loaded as an "Add-On" and any macros attached to it will be available, but cannot be edited or changed.
