mail delivery to a private subnet.

by ericl . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I recently had to add a Cisco 2610 router to my network so that I could create a private subnet. Everything is working perfectly except the users have the to click on another folder in Outlook 98 to retrieve their mail from the Exchange server (which is sitting on what I call the ‘live’ subnet because is uses registered IP address). I added the router address to the gateway on the NT server, that is running Exchange, but that only helped for a couple of days. Could I be missing an important configuration? Is it the UPD? If so, how can I set that up?
