Mail Merge in Word and Excel DB

I have followed all the instructions you gave, which are awesome by the way, on inserting an excel spreadsheet into the word doc. My Word doc is the address labels I made from the Excel spreadsheet. I want to be able to open the labels and then go to spreadsheet to correct any addresses and have it automatically update the Word is not doing that. What have I done wrong?
