batch files

by Jaqui In reply to Managing Oracle 9i servic ...

to start:

REM "dbstart.cmd"
@echo off
set ORAHOME="OraHome92"
set ORASID="ORCL"
net start OracleService%ORASID%

save as "oracle_start.bat"

to stop:

REM "dbshut.cmd"
@echo off
set ORAHOME="OraHome92"
set ORASID="ORCL"
net stop OracleService%ORASID%

save as "oracle_stop.bat"

to use:
as system administrator open command prompt window.
type:
oracle_start.bat

to start it.

type:
oracle_stop.bat

to stop it.

they are not batch jobs, thay are batch files.
