mapquest/googlemaps-> internet disconnects

I am using Windows XP sp2, Internet explorer 7, and internet browsing is ok until I access mapquest or google maps – then, the browser locks up, with no directions & no maps. The internet connection is then completely lost. I have to reboot my router when this happens. Does anyone know of this problem and a solution? Thanks.

Could check the manufactuers website to see iofthere are any upfdates to your routers firmware.

IE 7 problem

thanks for the advice about the firmware – I checked, but I already had the most up-to-date firmware. The problem with mapquest only occurred when I “upgraded” to IE7. I uninstalled IE7 and now it works perfectly with IE6.
