I’m using Win 98se & Office 2k SR1.
Outlook 2k is setup ‘Internet Mail Only’ since I connect to an ISP (this is my home office machine).
I send MANY eMails that I need to keep, so I have subfolders in the ‘Sent Items’ folder in Outlook.
I have a several rules that move a copy of sent eMails to the appropriate subfolder in ‘Sent Items’. I also have the global rule “Save a copy of sent eMails in the ‘Sent Items’ folder” turned on, because I want to save a copy of EVERY eMail that I send.
So, here’s what happens:
I send an eMail – a copy goes into the ‘Sent Items’ folder in the ‘Marked as Read’ state – then a copy is moved to the appropriate subfolder in the ‘UnRead’ state.
I would like to do 2 things:
1. Mark the subfolder copies ‘as Read’
2. If, a copy is moved to a subfolder, delete it from the ‘Sent Items’ folder
Can I do these things?
How do I do these things?
