Someone has dug up that olf discussion and posted a comment, at first I groaned and thought 'why would somone be posting there POST election?'
Then I read his comments, which seem to be in reply to your welfare comments and I couldn't stop laughing.
Not because it was toward YOUR comments and not that he took an opposition to you, but it was just a funny reply I think. It is definitely award winning copy.
I wouldn't want this forum to become a political one either.
I didn't want to post this to General, as the person may read it and start the whole mess all over again, I figured this would be a good way to get it to you without raising 'global' (sitewide) awareness.
I guess I could of PM'd you though.
I just couldn't believe someone actually dug up that one and posted to it.
I have noticed that in some web searches I make TR discussions (or individual posts)often pop-up as hits, I am assuming this is where it came from but I fear those lengthy discussions that take 30 seconds to load each page on a 5 Meg connection!
Cheers, OM
P.S. I wasn't sure if it was you but it echoed your sentiments, as you duly noted.
The thread is just too much to actually go digging for the source in this case, my bad. :)
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.

You should be able to appreciate it for what it is.
