May i send SMS message to anybody even I do not know the receiver. Is it illegal if I send SMS message to anybody?

Anybody is a large term. Anyone on your Network may recieve a boadcast from SMS server (2.0) the application is self installing, however unless your SR Admin, this is gong to be hard since you have to have access to the SMS Server or Eq. Rights on your NT workstation with the SMS Admin Cons (SMS MMC Console). Outside your network, it is possible, right now there is basicly the same ethical qustions about this as would be any other form of Hack. If your question is can I access without permision, this is a Hack and is subject to same laws as other hacks. However, if you use this to do helpdesk functions , ie, broadcast via dsl to another site, I would suggest getting a written statement of intent from them of some sort. This is a new area of Tech Ethics, and it's easy to cross over the line without even knowing it. Good Luck, hope this helped -Al
