MDAC installation hangs….

Hey all,

I am trying to update to the MDAC 2.7 version. I have an NT 4.0 SP6 machine that the installation hangs on.

I can start the exe and see the files unzipping to temporary space, but the wizard window never reveals anything. All I have is a blank grey window with a cancel button on it. I let this install run for over 20 minutes.

The dasetup logfile shows this as the last entry before I cancel the install:

Creating Wizard: Microsoft Data Access Components 2.7 Setup

Any suggestions?
