Your system memory may be low or your media player may not be working properly.
Try this: If you have several applications open, try closing a few to see if the situation improves. If the problem continues, you should uninstall and reinstall your media player.
Another thing to look at are your sound card drivers… especially if you have just upgraded your OS and know that the problem did not start until after the OS upgrade.
