Media Technology Tech

I have a Dell optiplex 745 with bluetooth mouse and keyboard (GM952). The keyboard suddenly stopped working. There is no apparent reason. Drivers are all present and troubleshooting states that all is well. Another oddity is that 2 other people in the department have experienced the same problem about the same timeframe; a month after istallation.

1) check the batteries. These Bluetooth devices eat them for lunch. You may have enough power for the PC to see it but not actually be able to function.

2) if all of them went at the same time you have a conflict going on with them. Try taking the last one out of the mix and see if the others come back to life. This would tell you that you have a bit of overlap. I've seen strange things happen where the mouse from one pc was actually moving the cursor on 2 boxes. Quite the pain.

I tried the batteries. I ended up going to My Bluetooth places / disabled keyboard / and relinked. It takes a while to figure out, but eventually it took. Thanks for the input. Happy New Year!
