LockedOpen-source community leaders have slammed the ‘absolute sh*t show’ of an embargo process that left many key constituencies just days to develop complex software patches.
[b][i]Could vulnerabilities like Meltdown and Spectre be spotted more quickly if processors moved to more open architectures, designs that could be more directly reviewed and influenced by software communities?[/i][/b]
