Menu memory faults

By bowenb ·
I have added a menu(#include <meun.h&gt interface to an existing c language program operating under SCO. I am having numerous memory faults and cannot trace why. I am releasing all windows, and menu items after each call, but something is not working. Sco is not printing the c source when using sdb, so it is difficult to debug. Any advice would be greating appreciated.

Tracking down memory faults is part of the job when you're dealing with C. Luckily, there are tools to help. I recommend dmalloc (http://www.dmalloc.com/), but there are others that are also good. dmalloc has support for tracking unfreed memory, doubly-freed memory, bounds checking, etc.

BE SURE to read the documentation and follow the instructions. It can be rather tough to learn if you try to go it alone.
