Presently I run 2 separate LANS Novell 5.0, Novell 4.11 and GroupWise 5.5. My company is a CPAS firm and recently had a vendor take a look at our infastruture and make recommendations. The recommendation is to move to Windows 2000 server and Exchange. Being Novell certified CNE5 I know the problems I am heading for. Like Active Directory nightmare! The vendor choice MS because they stated they spoke to our tax software vendors and they stated they were moving away from R&D for Novell and concentrating on MS. Would vendors think in such a way since there are still alot of Novell networks. The IT field is not very open to change jobs presently so I guess I will have to get my MCSE to stay here. I would really rather work on my Master CNE. I would entertain any thoughts of convincing my company not to change to MS. I have told my thoughts but a new partner is wanting to convert to MS and trying to convince everyone.
