Hello. I recently noticed that despite the fact that i turn off the active status on all my devices on messenger app and on facebook … friends see me online with the green dot whenever i check on my facebook app.

This is due to when you log in to your account the Facebook shows Active for a while that’s the reason for showing you active

Generally it doesn’t show online if you turned off your active status. You should report this problem to Facebook. You should also try to logout account and again login to your fb account.
