Microsoft Exchange training for new admin

By tom.morris ·
Hello. My shop, which is to be acquired, runs Lotus Notes/Domino as it's messaging platform. The acquiring company is an Exchange shop. Since I don't have an Exchange background, I am wondering if anyone has an opinion as to the best/quickest way for me to come up to speed as an Exchange admin. With Exchange 2007 being the platform in use, should I first learn Exchange 2003 or jump directly into training on Exchange 2007? I am considering some training videos from learnitfirst.com.

Exchange Training

by tim.hazell In reply to Microsoft Exchange traini ...

Hi,
I'm biased because I work for Global Knowledge, but I just wanted to offer up our Exchange 2007 course as a good training option.

Here's a link to the course page: http://www.globalknowledge.com/training/course.asp?pageid=9&courseid=10225&catid=184&country=United+States

It's a solid Exchange course that our students get a lot out of. Good luck!

Looks like we will be moving away from Groupwise. I am looking at this course for my introduction to Exchange 2007.
