Microsoft Office Killer Question/Program

I have Office 2000, SR-1, / SP 2 installed. When i open a document, say a attachment from outlook and into word, and i want to save it but MS-Word Starts blinking and i have to minizmize word to bring it back up in order for the “save as” window to show up.
