Microsoft Outlook 2000- how to remove it, or to shut it down?

By mmila ·
I hate the Microsoft Outlook 2000:
1. It apprears each time I want to send email.
2.It doesn't send emails, there is message of "error occured".
3.On the control pannel I can't remove this thing, without removing the entire Microsoft Office 2000.
I called to the customer support- it doesn't care, and cannot help.
I use microsoft office rarely, if I remove it completely: how can I re-istall in case I need it?
Thx, Lucy

First, if you re-run the install utility, there should be an option to modify or remove components. Select that and uncheck the Outlook component. Then the process will remove it. You should get this same basic process if you use Add/Remove Programs.

As for how you can install office if you've removed it, the answer is that you install it.
