Microsoft outlook – password

i am using microsoft outlook,
i had set a password for my personal folder(.PST file )
now i am in a trap, i lost my password
and i am not able to see my mails
can any one help me to retrive my mails

You call purchase & download a very handy utility called “Outlook Key” from http://www.lostpassword.com/outlook.htm. It costs about $45.00.

It’ll unlock your .pst file nearly instantly.

Hmmmm, is it worth $45? I was about to post the exact same question but decided to see if anyone else had the same problem. Did you try Jim’s suggestion?

There is a way to strip the password for free! but it doesnt ALWAYS work. use a program from microsoft called pst19upg to convert your pst file to psx format then back again to pst format. Once the file is back in PST format it should no longer have a password. Make sure the back up the PST file before running this program though. It has been known to corrupt PST files

at the command prompt type
PST19UPG -x mailbox.pst (where mailbox.pst is the name of the .pst file). This process creates a new file with the name of: filename.psx Then from the same DOS prompt Run: PST19UPG -i mailbox.psx. This process creates another new pst file with the same name. Then the .pst file should now be unlocked, you can use it as you would without a password.
