Microsoft Outlook sent time is incorrect

By edudley ·
We recently upgraded to Microsoft Outlook 2003. When you send a message, the sent time is an hour earlier that it should be. It is like Outlook is on Central Standard Time while the rest of the computer is on Daylight Savings Time. The computer time is right and when a message is recieved it is correct. Only when it is sent is it wrong.

Are you using outlook with exchange ?
or just as a standalone SMTP /POP3 client (pointing to your ISP mailservers)

Have you checked the Time Zone setting on your PC?
I've had a similar problem when the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" has not been checked...

Ensure that the time zone settings in Outlook correspond with the settings on your computer.

Click on Tools in the Outlook menu and select Options. In the Options dialog box click the [Calendar Options?] button. In the Calendar Options dialog box click on the button. Verify the time zone settings in Outlook against the local settings on your computer to include the ?Adjust for daylight saving time? check box.
