Minimise an app to the taskbar no icon

Help Meeee

When I click the minimise for an app the app dissappears I have checked the taskbar stretched it looked in other places, I have pressed Ctrl+Esc
I have tried Alt+Tab to no avail I have looked under the double vertical line next to thestart box but the apps dissaper “No Icon on the grey taskbar” any thoughts please
