Since a traumatic installation of broadband (now running well!) I seem to have lost four files which affect the boot proceedure, but as far as I can tell little else.
The files are vnetsup.vxd / vredir.vxd / dfs.vxd and msnp32.dll.
The loss ofthese necessitates human input to ‘click through’ during boot-up. Not the end of the world, but mildly inconvenient.
Could this possibly be connected with my other query of todays date regarding red-cross boxes?
